The ELF™ is comprised of two conferences — the Lightside Alliance™ and the Darksiders Union™ — with each conference having two divisions of four teams. The base edition of ELF (the tabletop game) includes the four teams of the Eastern Alliance. Future teams and cards will be made available in expansion packs.
The esteemed mage Mercutius Terhune is one of the most powerful and respected team leaders in the ELF. His team features the elusive Inara Floray at running back and a balance defense led by the superlative Davren Kragos.
The elves of the valley of Farenhil thrive on teamwork, speed, and a strong aerial attack. Sáeldis Lóriel, Farenhil's mage, runs her team with a focused intensity that gets the most of their talent. They are led on offense by quarterback Ardísa Ándaril and on defense by the fearless Áeglas Darcáenen.
This burly team of halflings is lead by mage Godric Greenleaf, whose bend, don't break approach on defense makes them a tough team to score on. The team also includes powerhouse running back Safria Redbloom and defensive leader Hildebras Baggald. They've yet to hit their stride, but no one looks forward to playing them.
The dwarves of Krondag are the current holders of Lydália’s Sceptre after their last-second win over the Dûrzhâd Dragons in the Empire Bowl™. Led by mage Dom Thordal, the team features one of the league's greatest quarterbacks in Odall Thrym and is led on defense by the massive lineman Torigar Bruld.
